SNAP ASSISTANCE

Volunteers are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays to assist clients with the online application process for SNAP (food stamp program.)  The hours for SNAP application help are from 9 AM to 11AM, by appointment.  Only English speaking clients are served on Tuesday while both Spanish and English speakers may be seen on Thursday.  Individuals may call Lake Cares at 352-383-0100 to schedule an appointment.

HONORARY AND MEMORIAL DONATIONS

Make your gift to someone more special by making a donation to Lake Cares in the recipient's honor.  You may also want to make a memorial gift honoring the life of a friend or family member.

VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION

Training for prospective volunteers is scheduled monthly at the Pantry.  The next sessions will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 10:00 AM and on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at 6:00 PM. Individuals interested in volunteering may call the Lake Cares Office at 352-383-0100 to sign up for an orientation meeting or leave a message for our volunteer coordinator, Janet Manchon.
