Lake Cares Food Pantry needs a few hard workers.
The Feeding America network feeds over 25 million Americans each year, there are still millions more who need our help. Ending hunger in America depends on the volunteer work of millions of Americans.

Volunteers are the foundation of our success. They answer phones, do mailings and other office work. During the week they sort and shelve food, and on Wednesdays and Saturdays they conduct interviews and pack groceries.
Our warehouse receives food deliveries several times a month; at those times we need special help. Cases can weigh up to 40 pounds and we remove them from the trucks and off pallets. Unloading takes 1-2 hours and works best for groups of up to 5 people.
We know how valuable your time is so most volunteer shifts require only 2-4 hours of your day and are flexible based on your schedule.
